For someone who loves colour I must confess that I get quite excited when I see a bright pop on a front door. To me, It just adds a bit of fun (and dare I say “personalty”) that makes a home look all the more interesting. It certainly makes me want to take a peek inside! It doesn’t matter if your house is old or new, large or small, you can always afford to be a little brave with colour. Your front door is a good place to start but remember that first impressions count and the colour you choose can often say a lot about you!

Hot pink! I walk past this house most days and it turns my head every time.

Same street, different pink. Just as striking though don’t you think?

Blue can be so beautiful. This cobalt shade looks just lovely against the soft grey walls.

Turquoise doors are popping up a lot in my neighbourhood. This colour looks great on the retro-style door against charcoal walls and the white picket fence..

We have seen yellow featured on front doors for quite sometime now. They have certainly lasted the distance and you could even argue that they have become “classic” just like black and red front doors.

Oh why don’t we see more green doors. They look just fab in my book.

How about a soft coral? “Living Coral” is the 2019 Pantone colour of the year.

This colour palette has quite a utilitarian feel - yet a softness too with just the right depth of grey on the door.

An oldie but a goodie. A classic gloss black door will never go out of fashion. A definite favourite of mine.
