Colour on the inside of your front door

Just like a ceiling the inside of a front door can be a great place to experiment with colour. It doesn’t always have to be the same as your trims. The colour you paint on the inside can really add to the mood and feel of your entryway. Just like a pop of colour on the outside, the inside of your door can be just as playful. Of course the external colour needs to translate in some way with the interiors (more often than not the inside of your front door works perfectly in your trim colour - mine does). However, If your hallway lacks a certain something then maybe some colour is worth a look.

A bright pop of colour on your front door

For someone who loves colour I must confess that I get quite excited when I see a bright pop on a front door. To me, It just adds a bit of fun (and dare I say “personalty”) that makes a home look all the more interesting. It certainly makes me want to take a peek inside! It doesn’t matter if your house is old or new, large or small, you can always afford to be a little brave with colour.
